Our Teak furniture comes from the plantations of Perum Perhutani on the island of Java, where the government are responsible for managing a strict policy regarding the size and quantity of trees felled each year together with annual replanting.
Your Teak Garden Furniture will arrive in its natural state and does not need to be treated. Teak ages naturally and over time it will mellow to a graceful silvery grey colour.
However some people like their teak garden furniture to maintain the "just bought" look, this is easily achieved by treating regularly with teak oil. It is best to start treating your furniture when it is new. Please make sure the furniture is dry before treating.
