Spare diamond honing rods for your Warthog V-Sharp XE knife sharpener (NOT THE CLASSIC). They come in three grits:
Coarse (325 grit) These are the ones that come with the sharpener, and for general use are the only ones you will ever need. It is argued that the microscopic "feathering" that these diamond rods leave on the edge of the blades over the finer honing rods actually makes for better cutting.
Medium (600 grit) These diamond honing rods for the Warthog V-Sharp give a finer edge for the knife sharpening connoisseur. Only use the finer honing rods to keep your knives sharp after first using the coarse rods for the initial sharpening as it will take you ages to get your first edge.
Fine (1000 grit) If it is a super fine edge that you want then get these, but remember that you must first sharpen all of your knives first with the coarse diamond honing rods in your Warthog V-Sharp.
